Tablet comparison: which one suits your needs?
Guide reviewed on
To choose between an iPad and an Android tablet, start with your apps and intended use. Then compare the same generation, storage and connectivity. A lower price can be misleading if a keyboard or stylus you need is missing from the bundle.
Open each product page to compare offers at visit time and buy from the retailer. Prices are indicative and may change with promotions.
Compare the same configuration before deciding: storage, Wi‑Fi or cellular, included accessories, total cost, and stated condition. These details can differ for the same tablet.

Which tablet for which use?
Reading, video and browsing
Prioritise comfort: screen size, weight and speakers. Check update support announced for the exact model.
Wi-Fi may be enough at home. For travel, compare a cellular version with phone tethering and include any mobile plan in your budget.
Taking notes and studying
Check that your course apps work on the tablet. Handwritten notes require compatibility with the exact stylus model.
A separately sold stylus, keyboard and case can change the total cost. Check what each bundle includes before comparing offers.
Drawing or working regularly
Start with essential software and features: drawing, files, video calls and external displays. Tablet apps may differ from desktop versions.
Consult independent tests for your tasks. A high price or a “Pro” label does not establish that a tablet can replace your computer.
Compare offers without mixing up configurations
- Model and generation
- The same tablet name can cover different generations. Match the full model reference; colour alone is not enough.
- Storage
- Compare the same capacity. Allow room for apps, photos and downloaded videos; verify memory-card support instead of assuming it.
- Wi-Fi or cellular
- These are different configurations. Check supported networks and SIM type if you need mobile data.
- Condition and bundle
- Separate new and refurbished units. Read the refurbished seller’s grade, battery information and warranty. Check the included charger, stylus and keyboard.
- Total cost and seller
- Add delivery and required accessories to the price. Check the seller, stock, delivery time and return conditions on the offer you choose.
Example: a tablet and keyboard bundle cannot be compared directly with a tablet alone. Add a compatible keyboard to the second basket, then compare both totals including delivery.
How to read this Sorendo selection
This page shows up to eight catalog tablet references priced from €50. Titles identified as accessories, used or refurbished are excluded, as are missing or invalid prices; related references are grouped by model family to diversify the selection. Ordering uses catalog signals and price; it is not a laboratory-test ranking.
Some references have only one retailer. Open a product page to view its offers. The guide review date is not a price-update timestamp; check the final price and availability with the seller.
